Covering the impact of coronavirus on the sports world

A jam-packed leaderboard has defined the 2020 RBC Heritage as nobody has separated themselves from the peloton going into the final round at Harbour Town in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The leaders entering Sunday are Webb Simpson, Ryan Palmer, Abraham Ancer and Tyrrell Hatton (-15), but the day started with 35 golfers within five strokes of the lead after 54 holes.

That means we’re likely in for a little bit of chaos on Sunday, which is good news for those of us tuning in. The leaderboard has stayed stylistically diverse and intriguing throughout the event, and the fact that it hasn’t necessarily favored one type of player makes for a great event. While Simpson is the favorite, you should keep an eye on Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka, who are just three strokes behind and playing well. After six 63s were shot on Saturday, I’m prepared for anything on Sunday as early tee times try and post a number at a gettable course before the leaders are finished.

Watch Round 4 live from 3-6 p.m. ET on CBS, CBSSports.com and streaming on the CBS Sports App. CBS Sports will be with you the entire way updating this story with the latest scores, updates and highlights from the RBC Heritage below. Oh wow, J.T. is -6 thru 14 holes and into T2, two back of Frittelli. And as I type that, Ian Poulter makes an eagle to take him to -16, one back of the lead.

Bryson gets to within two of the lead thru 6 holes on Sunday. The number right now is -17, but he has a real chance to post around -18 or -19 which could maybe be enough.

-3 thru 6 for @B_DeChambeau.He’s T2 @RBC_Heritage.For the week Bryson ranks:• 2nd in Driving Distance (All Holes)• 3rd in Putts (GIR) pic.twitter.com/iDati9Mo8s

35 (and counting) rounds of 65 or lower this week at Harbour Town. The previous high for any year in this event was 18 in 2002.

[email protected]_Frittelli – 62 ties the lowest final round ever shot at Harbour Town (Loren Roberts, 1994).

Dylan Frittelli shoots a 62 (!) — the low score of the week — and now has the clubhouse lead at -17 with the leaders not set to tee off for another 40 minutes or so. No bogeys. Nine birdies, including six on the back nine.

Tyrrell Hatton is looking to win consecutive PGA Tour starts (Bay Hill), albeit in an unconventional manner.Rory is the only European player to win consecutive PGA Tour starts in the last 30 years (he’s done it twice). Before Rory, it was Sandy Lyle in 1988.
