The 16th edition of the Euro football series, which will feature 24 teams from European countries, starts at midnight today. The football festival runs until July 11.

For the first time in the history of the Euro football series, matches will be played in 11 cities across the European continent. The semi-finals and final take place at Wembley Stadium in London, England. The 24 teams participating in the series are divided into 6 divisions. There are 4 teams in each category. Teams from Hungary, Portugal, France and Germany are featured.

The F division is called the Group of Death. Italy-Turkey clash in Rome at 12.30pm in the first match today, the opening day. France, the 2018 World Cup champions, are vying for the title this time around. The team includes talented players such as Anthony Griezmann, Oliver Crowd, Paul Pogba, Karim Benzema and N’Colo Conte.

England are considered another great team to win the trophy. The squad includes Marcus Rashford, Harry Kane, Jordan Henderson and Reese James.

Reigning champions Portugal may try to put in the best performance possible in all respects. But once again that team may depend on Cristiano Ronaldo. He is likely to be assisted by midfielder Bruno Fernandez, who is in excellent form. However, qualifying for the quarter-finals is expected to be a tough battle for Portugal. Because the Portuguese team is in the Group of Death.
