Chandigarh: In the ongoing battle for supremacy between Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and newly-appointed state president Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sidhu’s grip is now looking heavy. Sixty Congress MLAs attended the residence of Navjot Singh Sidhu in Amritsar today. Therefore, it is being speculated that Sidhu has planted a big mine on Amarinder Singh’s group. According to the information received, after the invitation given by Sidhu, 60 out of 80 Congress MLAs attended the program to visit the Golden Temple. Apart from that, the presidents of many districts, the corporation and the chairman of the board also visited Sidhu’s house. (As soon as he was appointed as the state president, Sidhu gave a big shock to Amarinder Singh.)
Captain Amarinder Singh had put pressure on the MLAs not to go with Sidhu. But still many MLAs and party leaders reached the Captain’s house. Also, three cabinet ministers in Amarinder Singh’s cabinet visited Sidhu’s house.

According to sources, Iktar did not attend the Golden Temple Darshan even after the invitation of Cabinet Minister Sidhu due to pressure from the captain. Sidhu, on the other hand, had called two Volvo buses at home to show his strength. Sidhu intends to show his strength by sitting MLAs in this Volvo bus.
Navjot Singh Sidhu had invited the party MLAs for breakfast at his residence in Amritsar. Pargat Singh, on the other hand, asked why Sidhu should apologize. This is not a public matter. The Chief Minister has not come up with a satisfactory solution on many issues. In such a situation, the people will not forgive them.
