Bangladeshi batsmen battled Australian bowlers and managed to score 131 runs in the first of five T20 games on Tuesday in Dhaka.

Shakib Al Hasan raised hopes in Bangladesh but his innings ended at 36 of 33 balls in the Death Overs.

Sent into the racket by Mathew Wade, Bangladeshi batter could not accelerate the running rate required in the T20 format.
