Ash Barty has advanced to the fourth round of the Australian Open with a 6-2, 6-3 win over 30th-seeded Italy’s Camila Giorgi at the Rod Laver Arena.
Barty will next face either the Defending champion Naomi Osaka or play against Amanda Anisimova, who was still locked in a three-set fight as the world number one sealed her victory.
This is the fourth year in a row that Barty has played this stage of the Australian Open has at least achieved.
