EM – Bulldogs defender denied entry to Tasmania after visiting the COVID exposure site

Western Bulldogs defender Ryan Gardner is the latest player to become involved in a COVID drama, making him unavailable for round 22 selection after visiting a Tier 2 exposure site. </ Under current Tasmania rules, the 24-year-old was banned from entering the state after visiting the site, which prevented him from being selected for Saturday's game against Hawthorn.

“Was Gardy (Ryan Gardner) unfortunately at the end of a 14-day Tier 2 exposure so we couldn’t consider him, “coach Luke Beveridge told Fox Footy.

Gardner joins a list of players including Rowan Marshall (St. Kilda) and Toby Greene (GWS) who missed at least one game due to visiting a COVID-19 exposure site.
