EM – Infant body found in NSW, woman arrested


A woman has been arrested after the body of a baby was found at a house in southern NSW.

Police searched the home in Corowa, in the Murray River region, on Wednesday night after they raised concerns about the child’s welfare heard.

According to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald, the body was found in a freezer.

The woman was taken to Albury Police Station, where police say they are helping with their investigation.
