One of the traditions between the Oregon Ducks soccer program and Jordan Brand is that Tinker Hatfield will make its Gridiron titans a special PE each year. Unveiled by the experienced sneaker reporter Nick DePaula, the shoes are packed with interesting details and materials. Smooth leather, perforated leather and suede form the basis and come with white overlays in color blocking and gray underlays. Solid black Accents show the face on the tongues and the Air Jordan logo collar straps, while the metallic buckles and the chenille duck emblems on the tongues are given stronger green accents. The fenders also come with an inconspicuous finish, but are made from a high-quality satin material The lower components of these AJ 8s are designed with more U of O-like colors, the outsoles also introducing a dose of neon green.
Unfortunately, these won’t be released, but according to a shoe card also revealed by Nick DePaula, a limited number of pairs could be distributed to friends of the program.
