EM – Penguins start goalie Tristan Jarry against Canucks

Penguins goalkeeper Tristan Jarry is expected to play the home game against the Vancouver Canucks at the PPG Paints Arena on Wednesday kick off.

This is the sixth start in a row for Jarry. In his last five games, Jarry has a 3-2-0 record along with 1.81 goals against average, a .932 save percentage and two shutouts.
Overall, Jarry has played 15 of the team’s 18 games this season and has an 8-4-3 record along with 2.09 goals against average, a savings rate of 0.930 and two shutouts.

• The Canucks are expected to start goalkeeper Thatcher Demko. In 15 games this season Demko has scored 3.07 goals against the average and a savings rate of 0.905.

• Former Penguins striker Brandon Sutter has not played a game this season after being put on the NHL list for Covid-19 protocol on October 11th. Recently, general manager Jim Benning referred to Sutter as a “long-distance runner” for the virus.
