The Australian won the toss and elected to bat first in Wellington, New Zealand on Friday.
As the wickets fell quickly, relaxed captain Aaron Finch saw off fifty off 47 balls. However, in the last stage, he drove aggressively. Ava was unbeaten on 79 off 55 balls with 4 sixes and 5 fours, while Australia were 156 for 6 in 20 overs. Ice Test took 3 wickets and Trent Bolt took 2 wickets for New Zealand.
Batting first, New Zealand were bowled out for 106 in 18.5 overs by Australia. Kyle Jamison top-scored for the team with 30 runs. The rest of the heroes all came out on short runs.
