Ebene Magazine - Boost Juice founder sells $ 30 million in homes

Janine Allis, a regular business and television company, has listed more than $ 30 million in Victorian properties, including a seaside home in Mad Max.

The Allis family will use the proceeds from the sale to fund a change of scene to the northern beaches in NSW.

The Boost Juice Empire founder and retail zoo partner yesterday listed her family’s Toorak mansion at $ 20 million to $ 22 million, shortly after she bought a waterfront home at 310 Great Ocean Road in Fairhaven for about $ 11 Million dollars.

« You plan your perfect life and then go, wait, we want another perfect life, » said Ms. Allis.

« Sometimes you pinch yourself. You know I’m from Boronia to even think I had a beautiful home, let alone two. I’m very grateful, grateful for the trip I had. »

The family’s vacation escape on the beach is known for performing as a family home with the title character Max – played by Mel Gibson in the 1979 hit Mad Max.

Allis is no stranger to television herself, having appeared as an investor in Shark Tank and in a celebrity season for Survivor Australia.

Marty Maher of Great Ocean Properties is selling the three-story, five-bedroom home with a pool, spa and unobstructed views of the surf break in Fairhaven.

« This house basically took two years to build and it was basically my passion house, but we called and said, ‘Let’s move on, let’s move on, » said Ms. Allis.

« The house is beautiful. It has great energy and a really great feeling. We certainly have a job trying to replace these two houses. »

The couple bought the elite property for $ 11 million in 2016, but demolished the existing six-bedroom home and replaced it with a modern masterpiece from award-winning Wolf Architects.

Senior architect Taras Wolf said the entire family home was designed to « age gracefully » and they were informed that « there is a certain toorakness that it needs to achieve ».

The three-story result consists of an elevator between the levels, a large entrance hall, a library, a home office overlooking an ornamental pond with a waterfall, a swimming pool, a sports field with a synthetic surface and a basement with a garage for five cars, a gym and a gym kitchenette.

« I do yoga and my vision was for my room to open up to this beautiful pond area that has turtles and fish and a waterfall, so it’s pretty nice, » said Ms. Allis.

Marshall White’s Marcus Chiminello listed the new residence for $ 20 million to $ 22 million. The expressions of interest are due by March 29th.

Last year, Allis sold a four-bedroom Noosa vacation home for $ 5.2 million after it was picked up in 2009 for $ 1.6 million.

The family has bought a block in the coveted Little Cove area of the coastal town and plans to build another home there.

In 2019, she and her husband Jeff sold their home on Glenbrook Road in Malvern East for $ 6.3 million after buying it for $ 3.8 million.

Allis’ son Riley sold a home at 17 Leopold Street, Glen Iris, for $ 1.43 million last year, 18 months after buying it for $ 1.2 million.

He and his brother Oliver were the buyers for the frozen yogurt brand George Calombaris Yo-Chi last year.
