Former UFC contender and current Bellator MMA fighter Anthony Johnson was arrested for identity theft last weekend, according to a report by the Greenwich Daily Voice.
According to a police report, Johnson’s arrest was on the illegal use of one Credit card returned to purchase a plane ticket in November 2019.
An arrest warrant was issued 18 months later and Johnson was arrested the day after he killed Jose Barros on his Bellator 258 advertising debut.
He was arrested released for a $ 500 bond and given a court hearing later that month. Johnson, 37, holds a mixed martial arts record of 23-6 and has twice in his career against former UFC bifurcation champion Daniel Cormier fought.
