Sub-Divisional Officer Hemant Kumar on Thursday conducted a surprise inspection of the mid-day meal in the three schools of the subdivision and took feedback of other arrangements from the institution heads. During the inspection, the Subdivision Officer gave the status of food grains, distribution, distribution of combo packets, honorarium of cook helper, stock register, etc. in Mid-day Meal in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Government Higher Secondary School, Banghachaith and Government Secondary School, Khoh. Investigations directed the head of the institution including the nutritional incharge present on the spot to maintain better cleanliness in the school premises.

With inspection, the SDM instructed the school principals to regularly check nutrition. The SDM also examined the educational level of the children in the school during the inspection. He went to the class room to answer the questions of the children and also picked up the checks and started teaching the children.

The SDM also directed teachers to improve their standard of education during the inspection. During the inspection, the SDM found a lock at the Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra in Gram Panchayat Bandha Chauth. After which the SDM has issued show cause notice to the concerned personnel and directed them to take disciplinary action.
