Bombolim: A thrilling victory for Kerala Blasters in the 65th round match of the ISL. In the thriller, the yellow team overtook the defending champions Bangalore FC. The Blasters won the match by two goals to one at the GMC Stadium in Bombay. The Blazers’ impressive comeback came on the back of a two-goal deficit after a goalless draw.
As the match ended in a 1-1 draw, Malayalee player KP Rahul became the hero of the Blasters. Bangalore had no answer to Rahul’s goal in the innings. Pueta scored the Blasters’ first goal. Bangalore’s goal was scored by Clayton Silva in the 24th minute. This is only the Blasters’ third win of the season. With the win, the Yellows overtook East Bengal and moved up to ninth position. The Blazers have 13 points from 12 games.
