Just when we thought the Riverdale cast had reached their limits in revealing the impending time jump, KJ Apa surprised us with more information.

While talking to TV Line, KJ spoke about Archie’s future and revealed also that our favorite city will be completely different when all of our favorite characters return.

« We learn that everyone went their own way. Archie joined the army after graduating and when he was after all this time in the When Army returns, he discovers that the city is on the verge of becoming a ghost town thanks to Hiram, « he said.

Of course, it wouldn’t be another season of Riverdale if our favorite characters didn’t get back together to try that Getting things back to normal in their hometown.

« They’re talking about how to revive the town. Archie is very much in charge. KJ also revealed that he and his co-stars are very excited for the future of the show was after they got to explore different sides of their characters.

KJ noted that while they already knew they were going to continue the series, it was still an emotional moment.

« I remember filming those scenes and really thinking, ‘Man, this will Riverdale’s last prom, you know where we’re all together and in high school too. ‘ So I remember that I really wanted to hold on to this feeling and live in it as much as possible and be as present as possible on that day of shooting, just because I knew we couldn’t shoot something like that again, « he said.
