Two men in their mid-thirties have died after being pulled out of the water and suffering cardiac arrest on a beach on the north coast of Noosa. A nine-year-old boy was also retrieved and taken to the hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed that paramedics answered a triple 0 call at 2. At 30 o’clock on Saturday, when they arrived at Teewah Beach, three bystanders had helped disembark.
They performed CPR on the two men who were pronounced dead after paramedics took over an attempt to resuscitate them.
The spokesman said it was not yet known how the trio got into trouble and whether they knew each other.
