Jordan Peele unveils poster for upcoming movie ‘Nope’

After taking us on a wild ride into the sunken place in Get Out and churning down our spines at the launch of The Tethered in Us, Jordan Peele is ready to take his directing wings with a new film called Nope to expand.

Little information we know about the upcoming film so far, other than the fact that Daniel Kaluuya – who starred in the aforementioned Get Out movie – will star Keke Palmer and Steven Yeun , the latter of which was said in the contract negotiation phase for the film last April. The artwork for the upcoming film is quite strange as it shows a gloomy evening and a dark cloud hovering over a seemingly lit city or local festival. Additionally, you can see a long line of colorful flags floating ominously in the distance.

While the plot is still unclear, one thing is certain and that is the film’s release date. Nope is expected to make its cinema debut next summer on July 22, 2022 with selected sequences filmed with IMAX cameras for the big screen experience.

Take a look at the poster above and expect trailers to likely hit the market in the coming months.
