New Delhi. National Commission for Child Rights Chairman Priyank Kanungo will investigate in the gangrape and molestation case of a minor from Assam in Haryana. He will reach Bhiwani on June 12 for investigation. Haryana Children’s Commission chairperson Jyoti Banda will also accompany him for the investigation.

It is noteworthy that in the month of April, some people found a minor girl crying in the fields near Dadri. The police was informed on this. The minor told the police that a woman from Dadri city had taken money from two boys and sent her with them. They both took her to Bhiwani and raped her. On being informed about the matter, the police had registered an FIR and sent the girl to Bal Seva Ashram in Bhiwani. The police haven’t made any arrests yet. In this case, the officers of Bhiwani and Dadri have been summoned.

On this entire matter, the chairperson of Haryana Children’s Commission has sent its report to the National Commission for Children, on which the chairman of the National Commission for Children ordered the Inspector General of Police of the state to take action on this matter. According to a former member of the Haryana Commission for Protection of Child Rights, this is a case of child trafficking. He said that the police, showing irresponsibility in this case, instead of giving protection to the minor, tortured him mentally.
