UK Prime Minister Johnson says the G7 summit is a chance to learn COVID lessons


CARBIS BAY, England (Reuters) – British Prime Minister Boris Johnson told other leaders of the world’s most advanced economies on Friday that their G7 summit was an opportunity to share lessons from the coronavirus pandemic and make sure they don’t repeat the mistakes they made.

Speaking to the leaders of the Group of Seven and the European Union, he said, “I actually think that this is a meeting that really needs to take place because we need to make sure we learn the lessons of the pandemic make sure we don’t repeat some of the mistakes we have undoubtedly made over the past 18 months or so. «
